We drive via the Panorama Route, which offers breathtaking views from natural wonders along the eastern slopes of the escarpment. We enjoy spectacualur views of God's Window and the world's third largest canyon and biggest green canyon, the Blyde River Canyon. The re are also the astonishing Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Three Rondawels.We overnight in the greater world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this National Park of nearly 2 million hectares, the Greater Kruger National Park is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. Truly the flagship of the South African National Parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. ITINERARY: Day 1: After breakfast and check-out from your accommodation venue, we depart from Pretoria for your journey to Mpumalanga, the home of the picturesque Panorama Route and the Kruger National Park. We stop in Dullstroom for afternoon tea (included) and take a brief walk around this trout village before continueing our journey. En-route, we stop to admire the magnificent scenery that the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window has to offer. Overnignt in Graskop. Lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast included. Day 2: After breakfast and check-out we enjoy the splendour of the Blyde River Canyon by venturing on an interpretation tour on a boat, which takes us to the rare living Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels. Hippos, crocodiles and fish eagles are amongst the wildlife to be seen while learning of the natural history of the third largest canyon in the world. Enjoy a light lunch (included) near the Blyde river canyon. After the boat trip and lunch, we continue our journey to the Greater Kruger national Park. on arrival, we check into a luxury lodge After freshening up, we meet the lodge staff and management to discuss and plan your daily bush activities during your stay. Enjoy an open 4X4 vehicle game-drive in the evening. Overnignt at a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park . Lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast included. Day 3: After breakfast we take part in some of the daily activities that were discussed with the staff and management of the lodge on the day of arrival. Activities may include game viewing, in the Greater Kruger National Park region in open 4X4 game vehicles or bush walks. The Kruger National park has been in existence for more than 100 years and is, for that reason, one of the most established wildlife refuge areas in the world. Being one of the world's remaining undiscovered paradises, visitors can experience firsthand the BIG FIVE (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino), as well as a large variety of other mammals and birds in their natural habitat. Overnignt at a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park. Lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast included. Day 4: After breakfast we check out from the lodge and depart early for our return to Pretoria. Transfers to O.R. Tambo International Airport may also be arranged on this day for those that need to catch a flight back to their home countries. Please allow approximately 6 hours of travelling time from the Greater Kruger National Park to Pretoria / O.R.
